Puckering Time

It's now or never.

Existential vacuum

Could somebody please tell me why I feel so drained whenever Kapamilya Deal or No Deal is on TV? It bothers the hell out of me.

The only period of time I could sit in front of my PC is during the evening, and unfortunately the computer is juxtaposed to the television set, and I still have to let that program of exaggerated creatures finish off. (Probably they're postmodernists as the players can assume different personalities; then again, they could be borderline schizoids or just having fun with multiple personalities.) Which equates to loss of will to blog because I tend to get cranky when I'm annoyed - well, who wouldn't be?

Have to fabricate worst-case scenario remedies. But I'm still wondering why.

I never knew that the show still airs on TV. This is proof of how much I hate TV lol I hated and will still hate that show. *cringe*

So is not watching TV a blessing or curse for me?

jhed: Never!

skye: it went back to haunt us because of the early recovery of Kris Aquino from her delivery.

and there goes another problem reagrding my comment.

skye: "I hated and will still hate that show. *cringe*" - same here.

yna: depends. just try to avoid watching Deal or No Deal as much as possible.

it's not a curse. it's a pestilence.

The only reason why I watch that show is because I just want to take a glimpse of the 26K girls. Other than that, the show totally sucks. Haay.

You know what? I have the same problem, too. The computer is situated near the living room. And I like blogging at night. But my mom watches the show and the rest of the evening telenovelas. What I do now is I retreat to my room after the evening news, wait for my mom to finish watching all her shows, and then come out at around 10 pm because I know she's done with the TV. Then I could blog in peace :-)

danhellbound: the new 26K are so lame, they could have been cardboards brought to life. except of course with the so-called pioneers like Charmel (is the spelling correct?) and others. the show is, well, really sick.

prudence: Our moms have the same idea as to freak us out. Even if my parents have a TV set inside their room, my mom always makes it a point to watch the TV in the living room. I don't know why she does it.

At first, I enjoyed watching this gameshow, nowadays I never would. Just like in your previous post, nothing just is really on TV nowadays...

Though I must admit, that sometimes, I love the show too, or used to love.

Matagal ko na rin siyang hindi napapanood.

I like the dancing girls...and Kris. Hahaha.

Somehow, I think this show makes people realize how stupid they are (i.e., for not making the right choice). It makes people crazy, including the viewers.

jigs: yeah, and it makes me think why people are still hooked on the TV..

isagani x: i also found myself watching the show for quite some time, but i realized that the program is dedicated to zombies and the like. so i felt out-of-place. thanks.

sephthedreamer: it's actually quite redundant. the program is stupid, the players are stupid - what's left for us to contemplate?

more likely, the program wants people to be infinitely dumber than they used to be. i'm not sure, but that's the way i see it.

Shoot me! I actually like KDOND, haha!

I like the mechanics of the game -- you know, opening the cases one by one til the end.

I am not annoyed by Kris, so I don't mind her being the host. Kahit siguro iba ang host, I'd still watch the game.

Wala rin ako masyado pakialam sa mga 26K. Though yes, some of them are actually pretty.

As for the contestants, well, depende kung sino naglalaro. May mga nakakainis kasing player, you'd wish they'd lose big time, hehe.

the king: actually, i really have nothing against the game show or with Kris or the cavorting girls. it's just that there's something in that program that annoys me that it impedes my mental capacity to function very well.

i have a schoolmate whose mom played in KDoND. they won i think P300. ha, serves them right.
